MeadowLane Audio is unique in the Internet world. The short stories were written about real animals, whimsical creatures and lovable kids who enjoy living on a farm. The photographs offer hints about each story. All the characters learn something important in every adventure. At the end, a Food for Thought message is provided to encourage children to think and respond creatively.

To a parent or care-giver in your house:

Thanks for guiding the children in the house to this website and newsletter. I hope they have been encouraged to make good choices and to enjoy their family, friends and pets. Sharon has shared a poem for the parents/caregivers to catch a glimpse of her thoughts at this time: Perspective

MAJOR CHANGES IN MEADOWLANE

This newsletter is as much for the parent/care-giver as it is for children, as it discusses major changes to MeadowLane Audio Books for Children.

Springtime is wonderful time of growth. Each day shows us more flowers, fuller trees, different birds and a variety of nature sounds. For instance, our frogs weren't singing a month ago and now you'd think there was a chorus hidden in the stillness of the swamp.

Sometimes changes happen in people's lives too. One decision sets off a number of different opportunities and choices that often bring further change. So it is with MeadowLane Audio Books.

When Sharon came back from her winter holidays, she had to make several decisions about selling the house and moving to a new location. These kinds of decisions are often very difficult and all too often include areas that affect others. This has happened to MeadowLane Audio Books.

So, after considerable thought and discussion, it has been decided to discontinue this project as you have come to know it. A big thank you is extended to all of you who graciously accepted our newsletter, encouraged us and offered ideas. The website will be up for a short time and then will take a break until further decisions are made about it's future. Donna is very grateful to Sharon for her generous gift of time, as well as editing and narration skills. Check out the Roving Reporter's account for 'the rest of the story'.
