Colour Code for Valentine's
If I could walk upon the clouds, I know what I would do
I’d gather all the happy thoughts
And send them down to you.
They’d travel on the raindrops that fall down from the sky
To gently light upon your heart
And sparkle in your eye.
And when the brilliant rays of sun appear in rainbow hue
I’d send through every colour
A message just for you.
Red could tell of family love, in the heart of Dad or Mother,
Blue might mean the special bond
With a sister or a brother.
Yellow could remind you that friends are just like treasure
And green could be the love from pets
So deep it’s hard to measure.
Every single colour could be a sign from up above
That as you walk through life on earth
You’ll always walk with love.
And now that Valentine’s is here, it might be lots of fun
To design a code of your very own
To give to everyone.
Your colour code can spread the word, the message pure and true
That love is all around us
In everything we do.
Then when the morning light appears and we open up our eyes,
We’ll remember that a world of love
Is everybody’s prize.
A special gift to share with all, to comfort and to cheer
Not only just on Valentine’s
But each day throughout the year.
